Patterns of Growth

Picture
Plants speak to me. They whisper their beauty secrets in my ear.

In exchange for this trust, I offer their voices and beauty to humanity, and receive a sense of order in the world. Patterns of Growth is a series that explores pattern, life cycle, and renewal.

Process
I photograph design elements on a white background. Sometimes I build the patterns on the white board, and more often they emerge as patterns in Photoshop. I print on two substrates, aluminum, and a cotton rag fine art paper.
